Sean Penn should join the crew of Mike Farrell's "Artists United to Win Without War" with Jane Fonda and leave Earth in the "RED", shag-carpeted spaceship of love - from Hanoi Jane's epic, Barbarella.

Dear Senator Kerry, I am 21 years old and live in Ohio, and I want you to run for President. I will vote for you in the primary and in the general election, and I would encourage my friends and family to do the same. I am a member of College Democrats at Miami University (OH), and you are overwhelmingly the favorite among our membership. Best of luck to you--I hope you can bring to an end the woes of the current administration. Sincerely, Seth Bringman

I heard you speak for the first time tonight. I was very inpressed with your grasp of the problems that our nation faces. It is way past time that someone stepped forward to cast a little light on our present administration. It is very very refreshing to hear ideas and a vision for America (the land I love) instead of the same old talk of war over and over again. Mr. D. Castle

As a Democrat who wants you to continue your run for the Presidancy I want to tell you how proud of you I am. Please stick in there. The abuse is already starting but you can do it. I want to give you a suggestion which you should consider. You definitely need the South with you. Consider a popular Southerner as your Vice Pres. Zell Miller is very conservative but popular. If you think he will loose the base go with Gore or Edwards. Or you probably have some other Southernor you could consider.Pick a deep South Vice president. The Rush Limbaugh attack has already begun so we know the Republicans are running scared. Also is it not strange they all say the same things. All the Rep. Talking heads say the same thing like they get their talking orders from the White House.including your buddy Imus. Go for it John.

Mr. Kerry.....

Recently we have received a telephone message from you endorsing this years democratic candidate for governor. I am offended that you have lowered yourself to the level of a telemarketer. In the scheme of things it won't matter, but be assured that you have lost the votes of my family members because of this act of unprofessionalism

Are you related to former senator Robert (Bob) Kerry? I grew up with him in Lincoln, NE, and know he has a brother named John. Just curious..

Monday, October 07, 2002 To The Honorable John Kerry

I know who is going to pay for an invasion of Iraq when I look in the mirror. The question then is, "who has a vested interest in my doing this, and am I one of them?" The equation looks something like this:

$payment/sacrifice/death = $profit/reward/security.

Given this equation, my opinion is: DO NOT GIVE THE ADMINISTRATION FREE POWERS TO WAGE WAR AT THIS TIME.

YUCCA MOUNTAIN NUCLEAR WASTE DUMP: What else can you do with nuclear waste?

The Honorable John Kerry,

Imagine a UFO in a hundred years flying over the earth. It sees all the oceans choked with vegetation and on land, a writhing tangle of mutant life. Over the horizon it sees a plume of radioactive jetsom, coming from Yucca mountain and others across the planet. This may be our legacy.

There IS a viable, cost effective alternative to burying high level nuclear waste. Dr. Radha R. Roy, professor of physics emeritus, Arizona State University, released the Roy Process to the press in 1979. See orginal AZ Republic newspaper story on this web site: http://members.cox.net/theroyprocess

High level nuclear waste can be transmuted into non-radioactive elements on site, using existing infrastructure, commercially available machinery and current supporting technology. In addition, as the treated isotopes rapidly decay into stable elements, heat is produced, which can make steam to power the existing electric generators at each nuclear power plant where nuclear waste is stored in cooling ponds. Dr. Roy estimated costs in 1979 at $80 million dollars to construct the Roy Process pilot facilities and should take three years to complete.

Transmutation would also guarantee international security by eliminating bomb grade elements.

There are several touted transmutation methods. There is a neutron method that only partially reduces half-life, creates more nuclear waste to be buried for an uncertain future. The Roy Process uses photons and with repeated treatments will transmute plutonium into non-radioative lead.

Nevertheless, politics has put this important new science in limbo. The future of all life on earth is at stake. Before Dr. Roy died in 1994, he asked me to keep promoting the Roy Process as there will not be a more cost effective method to neutralize high level nuclear waste.

Sincerely Yours, Dennis F. Nester

Senator Kerry,

I am a moderate Republican who suppports the Bush Admin. However, I have never supported his dependance on big oil companies and business. You're right, we must explore alternate forms of energy to rid our country's need of the Saudi Arabia and teh Middle East. Thanks and good luck with your campaign. -kellybuchan@hotmail.com ;Yorba Linda California

This letter is in regards to a good friend who was recently in an accident while on a semester at sea. Mark is currently 21 and a student at Northeastern University in Boston. While on a semester at sea Mark ran into the ocean with a group of friends and dove into the water. Unfortunately Mark dove directly into a sandbar and broke his neck at his C5 vertebrae. Mark is now a quadraplegic for life and is now in The Shepherd Rehabilitation Center in Atlanta GA. For Christmas this year Mark gave his older brother his guitar that he had bought in Ireland knowing that he would never be able to ever play it again. Marks family has already had to make extreme sacrifices in order to be of help and support for Mark not considering the financial difficulties they have yet to encounter in the near future. The entire town of Hingham Ma has been extremely supportive and are currently working on planning a harbor cruise and starting an annual golf tournament for fundraisers to help Mark and his family with this huge financial burden and the pain they are experiencing. On the harbor cruise we are hoping to have an auction as the number one source of fundraising. We are writing you this letter in hopes of any donations, words of wisdom, help in contacting other celebrities and/or anyone else you think would be helpful in our situation. We thank you for your time and hope to hear from you in the near future. The harbor cruise is tentatively planned for spring 2002. Thanks so much and please feel free to contact me with any questions, advice, assistance, and/or help you have to offer. Anything you have to offer will be greatly appreciated by the entire community, the Lewis family and immensely appreciated by Mark. You can contact me by email lizzzis@aol.com.

Thanks so much, Elizabeth Shorey
